Dr. John studied orthodontics extensively before coming to our office at The Paddington Dental Surgery from Brazil. He holds a Bachelor’s of Dentistry and Orthodontic Training and a Master’s in Orthodontic Research, and is currently finishing his Master’s in Dentofacial Orthodontics. Before moving to Sydney and certifying his dental degree in Australia in 2016, he served as a professor of Orthodontics at the University of Extremo Sul Catarinense in Brazil. In addition to his work as an associate dentist, he regularly gives orthodontics lectures to general practitioners who are looking to improve their skills.

A certified Invisalign^® provider, Dr. John is the third generation in a family of dentists, and his wife is also a dentist. Dentistry certainly runs in his blood! His calm demeanour and outstanding skills enable him to provide his patients with excellent orthodontic care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. John has a daughter and is a black belt in Judo. He also enjoys playing and watching soccer.
